Processing of order

Here at G.B.S.Lighting we understand the importance of the ease of use and have tried to provide a website that is not only simple to navigate around but also simple to place your orders.

  1. Choose your products, select the quantity then “add to basket”
  2. At this stage you can either continue shopping or click on “checkout”
  3. Enter the required billing and delivery address
  4. Confirm you have accepted the “terms and conditions”
  5. Enter the required card details
  6. Enter CVV2/CVC2 verification
  7. Enter 3D secure verification
  8. On completion you will receive an email of the order
  9. Within 24 hours of your order you will also receive an order confirmation
  10. When your order has been despatched you will receive a despatch email

Payment online

Purchasing online with G.B.S.Lighting is safe and secure, our website consists of up to date security software to ensure all payment and personal details are secure throughout your shopping experience with us. No credit card information is given until you are redirected to the secure pages of Realex Payment Services who for added security require CVV2/CVC2 verification and 3D secure verification.

Payment by telephone

In the event you are having difficulty making payment via the website please contact us on 01564 783123. We may able to process the order over the telephone however in doing so we will only be able to deliver the items to the Billing address of which the payment card is registered. In line with our security measures we process payments directly into our payment processing provider’s virtual terminal.

Delivery Policy

At G.B.S.Lighting we aim to deliver your items within 2 – 7 working days for UK Mainland orders, however in the unfortunate case where items are to be out of stock for a period longer than 4 – 6 weeks our customer service team will contact you. You will be provided the option to either wait for the items to be back in stock or cancel your order and have a full refund.

Your statutory rights will not be affected.

If there is nobody present at the time of delivery a calling card will be left by the driver, using this calling card you can re-arrange your delivery as required. If you do not contact the courier they will however re-attempt the delivery two more times.

Delivery notifications

To assist our customers as much as possible, when your item has been despatched you will firstly receive an email directly from us informing you that your parcel is due the following working day (UK Mainland only. Areas outside of the UK mainland are generally 2 working days). The email will also contain a tracking no. Of your parcel, on the morning your parcel is due you will be able to click on the link which will take you directly to the courier’s website page where you can enter the provided tracking no. The site will then give you an estimated time of arrival within an hour slot. In addition to the email from ourselves, on the morning of arrival you receive an email from our courier which will also contain the estimated time of arrival.

In the event you do not receive any notifications regarding delivery it may be we have not got your correct email address and therefore advise you to contact our customer services team at [email protected] alternatively call us on 01564 783123.

Tax

VAT of 20% is included in all prices shown on this website in line with current UK legislation.
