At Lightyourhome we take pride in a prompt delivery service on all of our orders. We ship all orders with expediency on a next day courier, to ensure that your order reaches you within 2-6 working days.
This service is provided with our delivery partner FedEX, who have been providing a dependable and trusted service for us for many years. We appreciate that our customers have busy lives and aim to keep waiting times to a minimum.
The order process is performed as follows:
You receive an order confirmation by email just as soon as you place your order for your reference.
Once we have your product carefully packaged and booked out, a despatch notification is provided including all details you require to track your parcel from us to you.
The courier may contact you, via email, with an estimated delivery time.
In certain circumstances we will perform a direct from manufacturer delivery. This means that rather than being processed through our warehouse, stock will arrive directly to you. This is in order to ensure the shortest time between your order being placed and the lights being at your door. This service is only provided by our most trusted manufacturers to ensure our high level of service is maintained.
Delaying your delivery
Sometimes the shortest delivery time possible is just too quick! If you want to order right now, but won’t be at home for the near future, then that’s just fine. With our selected delivery, you are able to pick the day at which your parcel will arrive. We’re very happy to change our schedule around you, because why should you change your schedule around us?
Please note: An additional fee is payable for Saturday deliveries due to the additional charge from our courier.
We try to keep as much stock as possible available in our warehouses. In the case of you ordering a stock item before 12pm on a week day (bank holidays excluded) then we will get it picked, packed and dispatched out to you for a next day delivery. If it is important to get the item the next day, just give us a call and we’ll confirm the status of those products.
Many of our lights have fragile parts. It is just as important to us as it is to you that they arrive with you just as they are intended. We spend time checking and packaging our lights to ensure they arrive with you in a perfect condition. That’s also why we spent time making a careful choice of our courier, as they will take just as much care with lights in transit as we do. Should the worst happen, we’ll get any damaged goods replaced just as quickly as we can, and are just a phone call or email away for first class after sales support.
